Hi all My name is katrina, im 29 years old and I follow slimming world. Ive been doing slimming world on and off since I was 14 years old. This is my latest journey and currently im back up to almost 2 and half stone lost. I wanted to share with you all my food diaries so if you are struggling or just want some new ideas you could maybe get some inspiration from them and use them however you choose, if you choose to at all :) I have put my syn values in but please dont take them as gospel as you may have different measurements to me also I can get away with not syning some things but that is what works for me so just use them as a guide. Im happy with maintaining this week as ive had an M&M issue, they have just kept jumping into my mouth :) back on track now though and looking forward to a loss next week. hopefully i can get back to my 2.5 stone award, we shall see :) x

Progress & thoughts

Feeling a little better this week.  I havent rigidly stuck to the plan as intended cos I wanted to get the 6 off that I gained last week but even with straying a little bit I still had a loss so i'm happy.  Off to do my menu for the week now and looking to have another loss next week :)

Pizza topped turkey & bacon on spinach


Ingredients
·        Turkey breasts flattened
·        1 onion sliced
·        Sliced mushrooms
·        Sliced peppers
·        1 can of chopped tomatoes
·        1oz cheddar per person
·        Packet of spinach
·        Italian mixed herbs
Method
Cover the bottom of a large oven dish with the spinach and put the turkey breasts on top, then put the bacon on top of the turkey.  In a bowl mix together the onions, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes & herbs. Spread over the turkey & bacon. Put in the oven for about 30-40 minutes on 200 degrees Celsius. After about 20 minutes spread the cheese over the top and put back in the oven to finish cooking.  Whilst cooking you will find a lot of water, this is fine I just poured some out before I put the cheese on J

Progress

Well wouldnt really call it progress but ive enjoyed the week.  Went away for the weekend so lots of food and alcohol. I had all good intentions of being good the rest of the week but it just didnt happen.

Total weight loss - 1 stone 13lb

Its taken me a couple of days to get back into the swing of things but im finally there :) My food diary will be up on Tuesday

I just want to apologise in advance. There will be no food diary up this week due to me completely losing the plot.  Ive had a week of mostly takeaways and when not eating takeaways there has been copius amounts of snacks.

So, i'm not expecting anything but a gain and if its only 1/2 stone i'll be happy.  On the plus side ive been shopping and got a few bits in and have planned out a full weeks menu with all meals included, so I feel a little more in control now.

There will definately be a new diary up next week and I will update my progress as usual x

opinion of the week

Well even though I have gained this week im glad it wasnt more, I had a bit of an alcoholic weekend and with that came munchies so im happy overall.  This week im going to aim to eat more superfree and just take each day as it comes.  Im going through some stuff at the moment including a urine infection so that making me feel a bit bluegh but i'm slowly getting sorted :)
