New Year, New Start
Well Christmas has been and gone, new year festivities have ended and now its back to reality. Probably like a lot of people i've induldged far too much in food and drink whilst promising myself by the 1st of January I would be well and truly back in track.
I got weighed on the 3rd of January and vowed to myself that it was going to be a fab first week, my menu was plan and there was a fresh fruit salad in the fridge so I was going to be good.
Now in reality this did not happen. The only reason being was......there was still lots of nibbles that just had to be eaten, so not liking waste I just had to carry on eating.
So my fab first week has now reached saturday and im probably way over my weekly syn allowance. So after being well and truly bloated for a month and putting on a total of 8.5lb over xmas and new year (which isn't bad considering what i've put down my throat) i've had enough and I decided last night to completely clear my kitchen of all xmas food. My other half is being defiant and wont let me get rid of the tin of roses but that wont bother me im feeling positive. I went shopping today and got some essentials to keep me on track and whilst the other sat there with fish and chips he made me some bacon, scrambled eggs and 2 slices w/meal toast :)
So here's to at least a maintain on tuesday and a healthy 2012 :)
